YES it does work in modeler and layout.
The best use one can have for Voice Assist is for commands that have
complex keyboard shortcuts involving many menus or of course for
commands who miss shortcuts altogether. As long as you can use a
repeatable sequence of keyboard presses and mouse moves.
Now don't expect too much from VA in terms of reliability. But I have
found that a good training and testing - and not assigning any
dangerous command to a voice call - give you a quite functional unit
